Parker J. Torrence was born in Denver, Colorado in April of 1956. After a time, the family moved north where he spent his formative years growing up in a small oilfield town in Wyoming.
In 1974 he joined the U.S. Navy where he saw much of the Pacific Ocean. After spending a few years stationed in the Philippines, then Guam, and later Hawaii he spent 1995 on Diego Garcia (B.I.O.T.) before heading to Pensacola, Florida where he retired in 1996.
It was while in the Navy, and stationed on the USS Enterprise (1975-78), that he first discovered eclectic wicca and the world of magick and witchcraft. The 22 years in the Navy following that discovery led him to explore many occult paths, in which he studied, and worked mostly as a solitary practitioner.
In 1993 while in Hawaii, he had a vision of the Goddess, and his path became more focused. It is that path which brought him to the point from where the book Sea, Land, Sky: A Dragon Magick Grimoire was written and the foundation upon which the Draig Sidhe Path was formed. At this time, Parker is teaching the Draig Sidhe Path to members all over the world.
In 1996 he took a digital art class at the local college and became hooked. While teaching himself how to use a program called Corel Photo-Paint (it's like Photoshop), he created an online art project he called .u.n.f.o.l.d.e.d. .s.o.u.l.s. which earned him prestiege in both the online art community and in the web design community for the ground breaking side-scrolling gallery website he created to display his work. This eventually led to his involvement in 3D digital art and texturing.
Infamously known on the pagan internet as St.Parker and as FrogLace in online art communities. Parker, who refers to himself as a "Simple Pagan", is a father of six, a grandfather of ten, and currently lives in Midland, Texas with his wife & soul-mate, Gwen and their herd of small dogs.
